Title: Advanced Analytics Analyst II (Boston, MA)

Description:

Build multivariate predictive models to aid in the development of insurance

pricing. Develop customized computer programs for various statistical

analyses. Review external and internal data sources to identify new

variables which may enhance model predictions. Collaborate with colleagues

with diverse backgrounds to bring business value to the organization.

Analyze data on the safety and potential replacement cost of personal

passenger vehicles, in an effort to control company costs. Develop and

evaluate spatial statistical models to analyze and understand which areas

are more prone to insurances losses, utilize for loss projections. Prepare

presentations; supervise small-scale projects; and assist with training of

junior members.

Education and Experience:

Master’s degree, or higher, in Economics, Statistics or a related field

(foreign educational equivalent accepted) and one (1) year of experience

developing and implementing multivariate predictive insurance product

models.

Special Requirements:

Also requires demonstrated expertise: (1) in Survival Analysis, programming

in SAS and R, and building code and algorithms for insurance ratings; (2)

in high dimension interactions in insurance models pricing; and (3)

performing generalized linear modeling including clustering and

implementing actuarial variables in insurance product pricing models.
