solutions. Will collaborate with leading MEMS companies and R&D centers on a
wide range of MEMS devices. Will design MEMS inertial sensors, RF MEMS,
optical MEMS, MEMS microphones or related MEMS devices. Will communicate the
technical capabilities of Coventor’s software tools through presentations,
demos, and benchmarks. Will engage in behavioral modeling and finite
element analysis (FEA) with CoventorWare and MEMS to model multi-DOF
multi-physics MEMS devices. Will transfer models created with Coventor software to
Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, MATLAB
and Simulink. Will use MATLAB scripting and Python scripting to
implement tool automation. Requirements: Master's degree in computer science,
engineering, mathematics, physics or related field (willing to accept foreign
education equivalent) plus 3 years of experience using commercial
simulation software to model the multi-physics behavior of multiple types of MEMS
actuators and sensors. Experience must include: Demonstrated expertise (DE) in
FEA including pre-processing (solid model construction, surface and
volume meshing) using Ansys or Comsol to define appropriate boundary
conditions for various multi-physics analyses including two or more of
mechanical, electrical, piezoelectrical, piezoresistive, or thermal effects;
verify numerical convergence and accuracy of the simulation results by
comparison with analytical formulae and measured data; and, infer design
optimization opportunities and possible performance issues from simulation
results (post- processing). DE performing steady state, time, and frequency
domain analyses of non-linear electromechanical systems utilizing EDA
tools including MATLAB, Simulink, and Cadence Virtuoso. DE utilizing
Python and MATLAB scripting languages to automate model setup, run
simulations, and conduct post-processing of simulation results suitable for
various types of MEMS sensors and actuators. DE utilizing Cadence Virtuoso for
