Senior Manager, Competitive Intelligence

Job Description:

Duties: Inform senior management of key competitors’ strategies through the

compilation of diverse information accumulated from multiple sources and

packaged into one comprehensive and succinct report. Identify and analyze

key competitor strategies, including internal capabilities, by tracking

talent across the industry and the potential impact on the organization.

Study key market trends within the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry.

Research and analyze market data for patterns over time to improve Dunkin’

Brands’ ability to predict competitor actions regarding market share.

Establish a network of internal data sources across the organization and

with franchisees. Manage data source vendors and provide recommendations

while adhering to internal budget constraints. Lead communications on

competitive intelligence within cross-functional teams and to senior

management. Perform project management functions, including: participating

in the initiation and planning phases by gathering research project data

and requirements, utilizing project management tools and disciplines to

complete project assignments and meet deadlines, monitoring and reporting

project status to internal stakeholders, utilizing project management tools

and disciplines to execute project processes, and ensuring research

deliverables are completed efficiently.

Requirements: Master's degree in Business Administration, International

Marketing or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent)

plus three (3) years’ experience in strategic planning, competitive

intelligence, or market research. Experience must include: Demonstrated

Expertise (DE) conducting competitive intelligence analysis within a QSR,

franchising, or retail business environment. DE designing and conducting

quantitative and qualitative competitive intelligence studies leveraging

primary and secondary research methodologies. DE managing cross-functional

teams and multiple projects within specific timeframes and budgets. DE

performing strategic planning by leveraging information and insights to

support business decisions across multiple business segments. Position
