Job Description:
Duties: Project manages the full project lifecycle for financial
services applications and platform development, including tracking,
monitoring, and reporting project and application data and performance
metrics. Primary Responsibilities: • Maintains status of project and monitors progress. • Project manages one or more moderate-to-complex technology projects. • Creates install plans as part of project release
management. • Develop detailed plan for all project phases. • Identifies critical path and resolves any inter dependencies
in a project. • Tracks project changes using change control management. • Plans and coordinates project schedules and project
assignments. • Initiates discussions with users or external groups to
define projects and resolve issues. • Analyzes historical information to understand patterns in
budget estimates. • Performs project estimation and establishes milestones. • Documents best practices that can be utilized by others to
improve quality or production of work output. • Validates that all requirements have been gathered and
met. • Updates management on project status, schedule variances,
and outstanding issues. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,
Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3)
years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience
in systems and business analysis within a financial services environment;
Or, alternatively, a Master’s degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,
Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1)
year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience in
systems and business analysis within a financial services environment.
Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) performing process
modeling and use case modeling using Visio, SharePoint, and knowledge
management systems, to support project management, communication
management, and business risk management, including process mapping and
improvements according to business analysis methodologies (Agile and
Waterfall); DE executing all phases of the systems development project
lifecycle, from requirements, analysis through implementation, including
developing and maintaining the project plan using MS Project and Agile
methodologies; and working in a matrix team environment that includes company
employees and external stakeholders; DE creating user stories using JIRA for
Agile projects; DE analyzing and designing data models for 5 Tier
