Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for writing technical documentation for MATLAB
and Symbolic Math Toolbox users; writing online help content;
developing content that demonstrates creative solutions to
technical computing problems in a wide range of science and
engineering fields, including calculus, linear algebra,
differential equations, statistics, dimensional analysis and unit
conversions; shaping the design of cutting-edge software; writing
user-focused content that explains key concepts and solutions;
developing examples and tutorials that use MathWorks software to
solve physics-related problems; and participating with the
development team in the planning, specification, and testing phases
of the product. Education and Experience: Masters degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics and no experience. OR Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics and five (5) years of
experience in job offered or five (5) years of experience in
technical writing, teaching, or development of mathematical or
physical simulation software. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise in design, development, and deployment of
computation algorithms and applications to solve engineering and
physics problems using MATLAB and using LabVIEW or Simulink. Demonstrated expertise applying numerical methods (Eulers
method, Newtons method, and Discrete Fourier Transform) for physics
and engineering simulation, including analyzing and simulating
physical systems using Differential Algebraic Equations (DAE). Demonstrated expertise writing technical reports or publications
on physics, mathematics, and engineering topics. Demonstrated expertise teaching MATLAB for simulation, including
developing university-level curriculum and laboratory tutorials for
