Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for designing and developing sophisticated
testing software; enhancing testability, developing automated test
infrastructure, and conducting hands-on testing of MathWorks
Simulink web application UI systems; creating test plans and test
procedures; implementing test-infrastructure and adding automated
tests; implementing non-functional testing, including performance
and memory testing; reporting bugs and qualifying bug fixes;
creating test tools and enhancing existing ones; participating in
design reviews and code reviews; qualifying product functionality
from early design stages and playing a critical role in driving it
to final release; and working closely with Development, Quality
Engineering, and Documentation teams, as well as with customer
facing groups. Education and Experience: Masters degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering or Computer Science and no experience. OR Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering or Computer Science and five (5) years of experience in
job offered or five (5) years of experience in development and
testing of web applications. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise designing web applications using
JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AJAX following Agile Test-Driven
Development methodologies. Demonstrated expertise developing automated testing tools using
MATLAB and JavaScript, including web-based GUI test automation
using JavaScript testing frameworks; and applying data structures
and algorithmic programming concepts to MATLAB and JavaScript
development. Demonstrated expertise performing unit and integration testing
using MATLAB Unit testing frameworks and JavaScript testing
frameworks -- QUnit and FuncUnit; and developing test automation
using Sinon.js test mocking frameworks. Demonstrated expertise in object-oriented programming, design,
and analysis using MATLAB and JavaScript; and performing version
