Job Description:
Working under the direction of Technical Writer Senior Team
Leader 3, will analyze user information requirements to write technical
user-focused content that explains key toolset functionality concepts and
methodologies to end users; develop examples and tutorials to show how to use
MathWorks products to solve modeling problems, work with the end-user
community to generate online content for practicing engineers, and augment
existing product resources with compelling new materials; and participate
in the development enhancement product, and help MathWorks develop the
next generation of online resources. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in
Industrial Engineering, Computational Biology, Industrial Systems, or
Technical or Professional Writing and five (5) years of experience in job
offered or five (5) years of experience in technical writing. OR Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in
Industrial Engineering, Computational Biology, Industrial Systems, or
Technical or Professional Writing and no experience. Special Requirements: *Demonstrated expertise writing algorithms and functions using
MATLAB, R or Python, and in quality analysis of data using Minitab or Excel
using Visual Basic. *Demonstrated expertise in teaching or presenting statistical
concepts and methodologies including Linear Models, Statistical Quality
Control and Design of Experiments, or graduate research in a classroom or
conference setting, and in writing, including writing graduate teaching
material or conference proceedings. *Demonstrated expertise creating technical documentation or
publication of graduate research demonstrating technical computing solutions to
statistics problems, methods, and analysis. [Expertise may be gained during Graduate program.] The MathWorks, Inc. is willing to accept a suitable combination
