Job Description:

Working under the direction of Advanced Support Engineering Senior Team

Leader 3, will be responsible for leading development-facing post-sales

advanced technical support activities directed towards customers, whose

business involves the development of simulation models for physical systems

and control systems software; providing advanced technical post-sales

support and guidance on issues escalated from the technical support group,

relating to a strategic Account, Application, or Industry, requiring the

combination of customer application knowledge, industry knowledge, the

MathWorks product knowledge and relating to the MathWorks major accounts;

communicating and working together with the MathWorks Development staff

when inherent tool design knowledge is required; troubleshooting issues

involving core design aspects of the MathWorks tools, including access to

source code and development strategies in order to provide solutions to

customer; providing the highest customer support level complimenting

existing and standard technical support; working very closely with, and

sometimes train, existing support specialists within the Engineering

Development Group; and providing direct customer feedback to the MathWorks

development team for future enhancements to products since customer

interactions will be of the highest technical nature.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Electrical

Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Control Systems and five (5) years of

experience in job offered or five (5) years of experience in development or

technical support of model-based design and simulation technologies.

OR

Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Electrical

Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Control Systems and one (1) year of

experience in job offered or one (1) year of experience in development or

technical support of model-based design and simulation technologies.

Special Requirements:

*Demonstrated expertise simulating and implementing physical and control

systems within an automotive and aerospace environment using Simulink,

MATLAB, Control Systems, and Stateflow.

*Demonstrated expertise with embedded target programming using Autocode

generation techniques using Simulink, MATLAB Coder, Simulink Coder and

Embedded Coder.

*Demonstrated expertise providing customer technical support for model-

based design and simulation technologies.
