Job Description:

Working under the direction of Business Development Manager 1, will manage

a team of Partner Marketing Specialists with a focus on (a) managing the

team for professional advancement, (b) liaising with managers in

Development, Product Marketing, Sales, and Application Engineering to align

and influence partner strategies with company-wide priorities, and (c)

structuring and guiding partner strategies and partner go-to-market plans.

Specifically, must utilize knowledge of DSP, Programmable Logic

Controllers, and high-performance computing to influence MathWorks

Marketing and Development priorities. Will apply knowledge of partner

distribution channels to promote MathWorks solutions effectively in

targeted markets (e.g. aerospace and defense, industrial and machinery,

high-performance computing, communications, automotive). Will develop

Marketing reports and conceptualize metrics to guide team members in

tracking, analysis, and reporting of various market development activities

to demonstrate the impact on sales revenue. Will measure and optimize the

overall impact of partner relationships to scale partner activities. Will

assess business area performance related to FPGA and embedded platforms

megatrends. Will provide recommendations for upper management on a

quarterly basis to influence long term Company strategies. Will foster team

relationships with Marketing, Application Engineering, and Sales

departments and with the external partner companies. Will leverage

experience in worldwide market trends to establish a global business area.

Will be responsible for performance management and identify opportunities

for training, coaching, and delegating schemes for this team. Requires

occasional travel.

Education and Experience:

MBA or a Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer

Science or Engineering and five (5) years of experience in job offered or

five (5) years experience in business or market development of mathematical

simulation and automatic code generation software applications.

Special Requirements:

* Demonstrated expertise project managing the design and implementation of

domestic and international strategic marketing and market penetration plans

for sales of DSP and Communications software.

* Demonstrated expertise developing technical DSP and FPGA marketing and

training materials for international sales campaigns and support --

customer visits, webinars, web content, and advertising.

* Demonstrated expertise developing repeatable, scalable processes for

evaluating marketing opportunities and penetration strategies.
