Job Description:
Working under the direction of Quality Engineering Manager 2,
will be responsible for hands on quality engineering work for the
Instrument Control Toolbox, Vehicle Network Toolbox and management of
quality engineers responsible for MathWorks Test and Measurement product
suite. Hands on work includes writing test plans, participating in
design reviews, constructing automated test suites, performing all testing
aspects of the product and reporting bugs, project involvement in the product
development from early stages through final release, working closely with
counterparts in Development, Documentation and Technical Support departments.
Management responsibilities include coaching team members, conducting
regular one-on- one meetings, overseeing the team?s quality engineering work,
writing performance reviews and participating in release planning with
Software Engineering to insure successful qualification and delivery of
product features. Education and Experience: Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering
or Business Management and one (1) year of experience in job
offered or one (1) year experience developing test plans, design reviews,
automated test suites and bug reporting processes for instrument control and
vehicle network test and measurement technologies. Special Requirements: * Demonstrated expertise managing a matrix team spanning across
multiple technical domains. * Demonstrated expertise working with Test & Measurement as well
as Vehicle Bus communication protocols and standards including Serial
(RS-232), GPIB (IEEE 488.2), TCP/IP, UDP, I2C, Bluetooth, SPI, CAN, XCP,
VXIPlug&Play, IVI and VISA. * Demonstrated expertise interfacing MATLAB with Test &
Measurement instruments (oscilloscope, function generator, spectrum
