Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for contributing to the marketing and sales of
MathWorks sophisticated engineering products used by customers in
the automotive, aerospace and mechanical engineering industries;
designing and developing sophisticated software product models and
simulations to demonstrate MathWorks MATLAB and Simulink product
capabilities for control design and system modeling; developing
technical engineering demonstrations of MathWorks modeling,
simulation and analysis software to support the companys technical
sales activities; building data analytics integration models and
analytics systems to perform customer experience analysis and
analyze usage data to support data-driven decisions; gathering
customer software requirements to inform development and
customization of MathWorks model-based design tools including
MATLAB, Simulink, HDL Coder, and Embedded Coder; analyzing
customers requirements, guiding product evaluations, creating
proof-of-concepts, and building successful technical sales
strategies; conducting product presentations for individual
customers at public seminars and via web; and developing
demonstration programs and application examples that illustrate how
the capabilities of MathWorks software fit to customers needs.
Requires frequent travel and on short notice. Education and Experience: Masters degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering and one (1) year of experience in job offered or one
(1) year of experience in development, testing or technical support
of physical systems, control systems, and Model-Based Design
technology. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise using MATLAB and Simulink to model,
simulate, and analyze common design workflows in the aerospace,
automotive, or industrial automation industry. Demonstrated expertise in model-based design using MATLAB and
Simulink; and using Simulink Coder, HDL Coder, and Embedded Coder
for code generation. Demonstrated expertise designing, developing, and delivering
technical product demonstrations of control design or multi-domain
modeling tools. Demonstrated expertise guiding and teaching engineers or
engineering students to model and analyze a physical engineering
system using Simscape simulation software. [Experience and/or expertise may be gained during Graduate
