Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing
sophisticated software; developing key features to advance the core
technology in Embedded Coder that enables automatic code generation
from Simulink; driving infrastructure and feature development;
enhancing Embedded Coder to allow users to generate high-quality
code; participating in all aspects of software development:
collecting requirements, writing specifications, coding, testing
and collaborating with other teams; and demonstrating a mastery of
numerous features in Simulink products and delving into a large
code base. Education and Experience: Masters degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering
or Computer Science and two (2) years of experience in job offered
or two (2) years of experience in algorithmic programming to
enhance the efficiency of auto-generated code. OR Ph.D. degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering or
Computer Science and no experience. OR Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering or Computer Science and six (6) years of experience in
job offered or six (6) years of experience in algorithmic
programming to enhance the efficiency of auto-generated code. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise in object-oriented programming in C++,
Java, and JavaScript. Demonstrated expertise writing algorithms in C++, Java, and
JavaScript to design, integrate, and benchmark for efficiency of
auto-generated code. Demonstrated expertise applying graph theory and network science
for clustering, visualization and data mining. Demonstrated expertise using data structures and design patterns
and applying algorithms for code optimization, including debugging
using GDB and Visual Studio; and performing version control using
Git. [Experience and/or expertise may be gained during Graduate
