Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for designing, developing and testing
sophisticated software; performing software development related to
containers, serverless computing, and orchestration tools; building
scalable, fault-tolerant systems; designing, architecting, and
developing MATLAB deployment products for cloud environments; using
modern programming languages including Golang, Java, C++,
JavaScript, and MATLAB; collaborating in a fast paced Agile
environment with a highly multi-functional team; and designing,
developing and implementing software and infrastructure to support
high-availability and high-scalability. Education and Experience: Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely
related field (or foreign education equivalent) and no
experience. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise building distributed web services using
cloud-based Amazon Web Services (AWS) platforms; and performing
containerization using Docker and orchestration using
Kubernetes. Demonstrated expertise developing RESTful web services within a
distributed computing system environment; performing
object-oriented design and analysis using Go; and architecting code
using design patterns. Demonstrated expertise performing version control and continuous
integration; and in software configuration management and version
control system management, including analysis and implementation of
branching strategies using Git, CVS, or Perforce. Demonstrated expertise writing SQL and DynamoDB scripts to
extract and store data within a SQL or NoSQL environment, including
writing SQL queries in MySQL for database integration of web
