Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for designing, developing and testing
sophisticated software; designing and implementing new features and
state-of-art algorithms for Automated Driving in MATLAB and
Simulink; developing and delivering software algorithms, user
interfaces and demos in support of automated driving workflows to
customers worldwide; developing key workflows for virtual reality
simulations and sensor data labeling to enable algorithm
verification and training of deep learning systems; assessing
literature, writing functional specifications and leading design
reviews; implementing test algorithms using MATLAB and C++ on
Windows, Linux and Macintosh platforms; applying localization and
mapping techniques, computer vision theory and algorithms, and code
generation techniques in software development to develop and
enhance automated driving systems; and collaborating with a
multi-functional team of software developers, quality engineers,
usability specialists and technical writers. Education and Experience: Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely
related field (or foreign education equivalent) and no
experience. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise developing autonomous algorithms in C++
and MATLAB within a multiplatform environment -- Windows, Linux,
and Mac. Demonstrated expertise designing and implementing localization,
navigation, and mapping algorithms for autonomous systems in
MATLAB. Demonstrated expertise simulating autonomous mobile robots and
computer vision systems using C++; and performing algorithmic
programming for embedded devices to enhance the efficiency of the
C/C++ code. Demonstrated expertise in the full software development life
cycle (SDLC), including functional design, architecture design,
implementation, and testing, according to scrum-based Agile
