Job Description:

Leads architecture, design, development and coordination of Java and web

oriented technologies software development projects and work teams.

Provides technical and project management support to project team members.

Maintains “best practices” and technologies relating to software

development and project management. Implements new and adjusts existing UI

for web based applications from server to client side layers. Designs,

implements and maintains components of distributed systems for interaction

regression testing.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Master’s degree (or equivalent foreign education) in Mechanical

Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics

or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years

of web Java based application development experience.

OR, in the alternative:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent foreign education) in Mechanical

Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics

or a related field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years

of web Java based application development experience.

Special Requirements:

1.Demonstrated expertise in the design and development of complete web

based applications from server to client side layers, including data

storage and UI aspects (familiarity with software development life cycle

and agile development process is required);

2.Demonstrated expertise in Java and modern Java related frameworks and

technologies, including Java EE technologies with emphasis on web and

services, Spring Framework, Hibernate, as well Apache Foundation provided

frameworks and libraries;

3.Demonstrated expertise in the design and development of desktop

applications based on Swing;

4.Demonstrated expertise in the design and development of Rich Internet

Applications using core JavaScript, including one of the following

technologies/libraries: JQuery, YUI, or Prototype), and expertise with

Adobe Flex, Google Web Toolkit, or a similar tool;

5.Demonstrated knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL programming languages.
