Job Description:
Will manage the lifecycle of projects within business
systems environments. Will work with key users from various business
groups to understand business requirements and design solutions which meet
business needs and are in line with industry best practices. Will act as
the primary interface between business operations and technical
teams. Will partner with assigned business areas to understand and
prioritize information needs, and translate business requirements into
systems solutions. Will consult with business and IT partners to
strategize, plan, and implement projects within designated time and budget
constraints. Will perform business process mapping and gap analysis. Will
coordinate with the Development team and group manager throughout the
development lifecycle to ensure requirements are developed and delivered according
to specifications. Will facilitate discussions with user groups
regarding using system solutions to enable new business initiatives. Will
research implementation alternatives and provide design recommendations
to both the user community and technical teams. Will manage the
implementation of enhancements to applications throughout the project lifecycle.
Will verify configuration and functionality within applications. Will
supervise a team of one or more resources and will serve as an escalation point
for resources in problem resolution. Requirements: Master’s degree (or equivalent foreign education) in Computer
Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics,
Physics, or a related field plus three (3) years’ experience in the job
offered or creating business, functional, and test requirements for
software implementation. OR, in the alternative: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent foreign education) in Computer
Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics,
Physics, or a related field plus five (5) years’ experience in the job offered
or creating business, functional, and test requirements for
software implementation. Special Requirements: 1)Demonstrated expertise eliciting software requirements from
cross- functional stakeholders and transforming them into product
specifications. 2)Demonstrated expertise with the software development
lifecycle. 3)Demonstrated experience leading a team through stages of the
software development lifecycle 4)Demonstrated expertise developing detailed resource and
project plans. 5)Demonstrated expertise preparing business requirements,
functional design and process/application system flow documents for software
