Job Description:
Working under the direction of Quality Engineering Manager 1,
will participate in the project from its early design stages and play
a critical role in driving it to final product release. Will be responsible
for developing automated test suites and conducting hands-on testing
and release qualification of the Image Processing Toolbox. Will work
closely with Software Engineering, Documentation and Usability teams.
Will provide image processing domain-based feedback about plans for product
and tool development. Will write test plans and test procedures and will
write automated test suites using MATLAB to test image processing
functionality. Will execute the interactive testing plans on UNIX and PC
platforms and will report detected bugs using our bug tracking system. Will
qualify bug fixes and will work occasionally with technical support
engineers. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in
Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer
Engineering or Engineering Sciences and five (5) years of experience in job
offered or five (5) years experience in the development, testing or
technical support of image processing applications, engines or functions. OR Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering or
Engineering Sciences and one (1) year of experience in job offered or one
(1) year experience in the development, testing or technical support of
image processing applications, engines or functions. Special Requirements: * Demonstrated expertise performing Object Oriented programming
in MATLAB and generating code coverage reports from MATLAB tests. * Demonstrated expertise writing automated test plans and cases
within a Windows, UNIX and Mac environment. * Demonstrated expertise generating C code from Simulink. [Expertise may be gained during Graduate program.] For the position listed above, interested candidates may search
