Job Description:

Leads architecture, development, and deployment of production agent-based

and agentless monitoring systems and scheduling tools. Identifies

technology trends and opportunities and incorporates new technologies.

Analyzes performance of automation tools and recommends enhancements to

upper management. Develops tools and processes to improve efficiency and

reliability of automated systems. Engages in capacity planning and

performance analysis activities and resolves deficiencies. Provides

guidance to large-scale Cloud Operations Teams regarding tools and

processes used to update, monitor, and support infrastructure. Serves as

technical expert regarding performance analysis, automation, and

efficiency. Reviews and refines project requirements, identifies

performance weaknesses or defects, and implements project plans. Provides

technical and project management guidance to internal Engineering Teams

regarding the reliability, scaling, and efficiency of automation tools and

related processes. Optimizes production environment to ensure that

practices drive scalability and efficiency for line of services. Partners

with IT Teams to provide automated tools used to ensure system availability

and operational efficiency.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical

Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or related field

(willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus 5 years’ experience

developing and administering global IT infrastructures, applications, and

automation tools or a Master's degree and 3 years of experience as stated

above. Experience must include: demonstrated expertise configuring batch

scheduling applications within Microsoft Windows, RedHat Linux, and Oracle

Solaris server operating systems; demonstrated expertise monitoring

conditions of agent-based and agentless automation tools; demonstrated

experience conducting automated system trend analysis and reporting; and

demonstrated experience providing technical support during software

installation or configuration of monitoring agents.
