Job Description:

Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead, will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing sophisticated software; developing innovative project management tools, software refactoring tools, and add-on management tools for MATLAB; participating in software development projects from the early design stages and driving them to delivery to improve the daily workflows of MATLAB users; working with core teams to invent new ways for users to interact with their MATLAB code files and projects in MATLAB; writing carefully crafted, well-tested, modular code; and presenting and participating in team design reviews.

Education and Experience:

Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and no experience.

Special Requirements:

Demonstrated expertise in UI application development using JQuery or Dojo frameworks; performing object-oriented design and analysis using JavaScript; and architecting code using design patterns.

Demonstrated expertise programming and debugging C++ code; and performing web development using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

Demonstrated expertise in development and automated testing of GUIs for cross-site applications using MATLAB tools for automation and testing of HTML and JavaScript code.

Demonstrated expertise performing version control and continuous integration; and in software configuration management and version control system management, including analysis and implementation of branching strategies using Perforce or Git.
