Job Description:

Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead, will be responsible for contributing to the marketing and sales of MathWorks' sophisticated control system engineering products; designing and developing sophisticated software product models and simulations to demonstrate MathWorks Control and Identification product capabilities; developing technical engineering demonstrations of MathWorks control system products to support the companys marketing activities; building data analytics integration models and analytics systems to perform customer experience analysis and analyze usage data to support data-driven marketing decisions; gathering customer software requirements to inform development and customization of MathWorks MATLAB and Simulink controls products; working with MathWorks customers to understand initial sets of requirements; evaluating and creating proof-of-concepts; refining, communicating, and proposing a viable all-encompassing real-time simulation and testing solution for a given customer project; understanding customers engineering language, absorbing highly technical material and concepts, and clearly communicating verbally and in writing the solutions created and proposed with MathWorks products; supporting the technical aspect of the marketing process; working with prospective customers to understand their workflow and provide recommendations on how solutions from MathWorks can improve the results of customer product development processes; and delivering product evaluations for prospective customers to prove the value of MathWorks products within the constructs of a feasibility project.

Education and Experience:

Masters degree in Engineering or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and one (1) year of experience in job offered or one (1) year of experience in development and product marketing of control systems applications.

Special Requirements:

Demonstrated expertise programming in MATLAB and Simulink.

Demonstrated expertise using MATLAB and Simulink to model and simulate control systems.

Demonstrated expertise developing marketing content for control system products; and developing and researching proof-of-concepts for control system product features.
