Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for designing, developing and providing
technical support to sophisticated web applications; analyzing,
designing, developing, deploying, and supporting web applications
used by MathWorks; working in an Agile and collaborative approach
to solve problems and design solutions; providing direct technical
support through help requests and consulting on projects and
one-off requests; analyzing business processing and working with
teams to define and scope SharePoint projects and enhancements;
performing intranet platform administration including Azure IaaS
and SaaS; participating in the design and development of solutions
to streamline business processes and functions; creating operating
procedures and developing strategies to promote user adoption;
providing day-to-day operations assistance; serving as the POC for
differentiating functional issues from technical issues and
resolving technical issues; supporting operations, troubleshooting
failures, monitoring incidents, and providing the technical support
for intranet team; supporting confluence overflow; and creating new
spaces and triaging permissions issues. Education and Experience: Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied
Computer Science, or a closely related field (or foreign education
equivalent) and no experience. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise in design and development of web
applications, including using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JQuery,
JavaScript and AngularJS within React JavaScript libraries for
front-end development; and developing backend applications to
interface with RESTful web services using .Net and JavaScript. Demonstrated expertise developing, migrating, and integrating
SharePoint applications within Office365. Demonstrated expertise designing and developing REST APIs for
enterprise systems integration using .NET. Demonstrated expertise in full stack web development, including
planning, documenting, architectural design and development,
deployment, and testing according to Agile Scrum methodologies
