Job Description:

Position: Web Developer III - CSS/HTML (Front End Developer) (Boston,

Massachusetts)

Duties: Write clean, elegant, performant HTML/CSS code in support of our

E-commerce sites, internal applications and supplier extranet, working

with Designers, Product Managers, and business stakeholders to translate

designs/ wireframes into interactive browser-based web pages. Write

scalable/maintainable coding patterns that comply with web standards;

work with cross-functional teams including Javascript, Mobile, and Full-

Stack (PHP) to create next generation site features. Build web

applications that adapt to screen size and capabilities of varying

mobile devices. Apply SEO best practices; measure and continue improving

page rendering and browser performance. Identify ways to improve code

architecture, maintainability, standards, and workflow; engage in high-

level CSS/HTML architecture discussions, applying BEM and OOCSS; perform

CSS/HTML code reviews for all engineering teams. Write training and

referential documents. Train and mentor junior web developers.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems

or Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education

equivalent) plus 2 year in web development experience or a Master's

degree and 1 years of experience as stated above. Experience must

include: demonstrated expertise CSS/HTML, including the ability to code

from scratch without a framework, a strong focus on code reusability,

and performance and faithfulness to design; demonstrated experience

coding for Mobile/Tablet devices, including responsive/adaptive design;

demonstrated expertise coding within a PHP and JavaScript; demonstrated

expertise with Git.
