Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for designing and developing sophisticated
software; evolving the infrastructure for the MATLAB app building
design environment; setting the vision for the design,
architecture, and development of services and frameworks that
enable app building workflows; identifying and advocating for
opportunities to leverage industry JavaScript frameworks; engaging
in all aspects of software development processes; creating
requirements and architecture specifications, conducting design
reviews, and generating high quality software design solutions;
programming and debugging in JavaScript; and collaborating in a
fast paced Agile environment with a highly cross-functional
team. Education and Experience: Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely
related field (or foreign education equivalent) and no
experience. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise programming in MATLAB, C++ and
JavaScript; and translating data from JavaScript to C++ or
MATLAB. Demonstrated expertise in infrastructure development of
web-based applications including developing REST API client-server
architectures in MATLAB, JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Demonstrated expertise debugging, refactoring and
re-architecting large MATLAB and JavaScript codebases (1M+ lines of
code). Demonstrated expertise in the full software development life
cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, functional design,
architecture design, implementation, and testing of web
