Job Description:

Will support and maintain software found in complex, remotely

distributed applications. Will work directly with Customer Support and

Cloud Services teams to troubleshoot and diagnose problems when they

occur and trace the symptoms back to the root cause. Will develop well

documented and performing software code fixes to address product defects

as well as assist in the creation and delivery of product hot fixes and

service packs. Will solicit code reviews of others' work, develop and

run unit tests, deliver automated tests to Quality Assurance for

inclusion in a regression test bed, and test on multiple configurations

as needed.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent foreign education) in Computer Science,

Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field plus 3

years of developing software using Java.

OR, in the alternative:

Master’s degree (or equivalent foreign education) in Computer Science,

Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field plus 1

year of developing software using Java.

Special Requirements:

(1)Demonstrated expertise developing complex multi-threaded Web based

applications utilizing at least two of the following Java-based

technologies: JDBC, JSP, Hibernate, Spring, or Servlets.

(2) Demonstrated expertise leveraging SQL and PLSQL programming

languages to develop and debug a relational database management system

(“RDBMS”).

(3)Demonstrated expertise leveraging Java-based tools, including Ant and

Maven build tools to develop software environments.

(4)Demonstrated expertise leveraging XML-based technologies, including

SOAP, to develop protocols for exchanging structured information in the

implementation of Web services.
