Job Description:

Will design, modify, develop, write, and implement standard and

customized business reports and analyses. Will support and install

software applications and participate in the testing process through

test review and analysis, test witnessing, production systems

deployment. Will develop code that meets company coding standards,

policies, and procedures. Will prepare work estimates and collaborate

on project plans. Will collaborate with functional teams to understand

and validate functional requirements and assign effort and complexity

estimates. Will execute unit testing and system testing to ensure the

code meets technical and functional specifications. Will fix and assist

in fixing bugs identified through system testing, functional testing and

User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Will participate in the development of

iterative prototypes and prepare design notes according to group

standards and based on an approved set of requirements. Will define

technical and functional specifications and assist peers in the

development of effort-optimized and performance-optimized coding

solutions. Will participate in planning and contribute to the

application project delivery and production support activities using

standard application development tools. Will collaborate with Business

Analysts to create and improve test plans. Will facilitate functional,

technical, and design reviews. Will architect BI solutions for

specific business problems using a combination of existing platforms and

third-party technology solutions. Will create sub-system architecture by

leveraging platform technologies. Will define the complete architecture

of a subsystem, including component design, the interface among the

various components, and the interaction between the identified

components. Will create deployment architecture and define execution

architecture. Will address non-functional requirements such as

scalability, performance, availability, and security. Will capture and

review business requirements and write functional specifications. Will

configure users, roles and responsibilities. Will plan and co-ordinate

dependent activities with business users and the IT team.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical

Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related field (willing to accept

foreign education equivalent) plus 3 years of experience designing

business applications based on data analytics and data warehouse design.

Or, alternatively, a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience as

stated above.

Also requires:

1) Demonstrated expertise performing dimensional modeling and data

warehouse design and development through all phases of the BI

development lifecycle;

2) Demonstrated expertise leveraging business intelligence tools,

including reporting, dashboards, analytics, multi-dimensional analysis,

and visualization;

3) Demonstrated expertise working with non-technical end-users to

demonstrate, provide training, and provide ongoing support for BI

solutions; and,

4) Demonstrated expertise designing business applications based on BI

processes.
