Job Description:

Develops, publishes, and implements test plans. Analyzes, defines, and

tracks Quality Assurance (QA) metrics, such as defect densities and open

defect counts. Identifies product deficiencies through Software Problem

Reports (SPRs) using “CaRDs” software tracking system. Installs and

configures components and ensures QA machines are properly updated with

the latest releases or maintenance software. Writes and maintains test

automation scripts. Leads architecture, design, and development of QA

software projects developed using an Agile process methodology.

Provides technical and project management support to project team

members. Mentors individual project team members and ensures work is

consistent with the design approach and overall QA standards. Leverages

Agile and Waterfall methodologies to track and control software.

Leverages Service Lifecycle Management (SLM) and Product Lifecycle

Management (PLM) tools to ensure the quality of PTC’s software.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent foreign education) in Mechanical

Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics,

Mathematics or a related field plus 5 years of experience implementing

QA software engineering processes and methods.

OR, in the alternative:

Master’s degree (or equivalent foreign education) in Mechanical

Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics,

Mathematics or a related field and 3 years of experience implementing QA

software engineering processes and methods.

Also requires:

1.Demonstrated expertise designing and developing software framework for

QA data loading and test automation;

2.Demonstrated expertise designing end-to-end Software Continuous

Delivery infrastructure by leveraging at least three (3) of the

following tools: Jenkins, Vagrant, Docker or Selenium;

3.Demonstrated expertise leveraging Dynatrace to conduct test automation

and performance monitoring activities;

4.Demonstrated expertise leveraging Maintenance, Repair & Operations

(MRO), PLM, and CAD authoring tools to design SLM and PLM solutions.
