Job Description:

Aquent LLC (“Aquent”) seeks a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst in Boston,

Massachusetts.

Duties: Utilize Python scripting languages to build automated testing for

large-scale B2B software applications. Create automated tests based on user

stories in an agile environment. Work with developers to ensure stories

are completed in the appropriate sprint. Build highly maintainable

advanced automated test frameworks using a variety of internal and third

party tools, including Selenium. Review Python code, and perform unit

testing to increase test coverage through automation. Partner with other

automation testers in related groups to reuse test harnesses, libraries,

tools, and processes. Mentor other team members on automated testing.

Investigate and provide root cause analysis of software and system defects.

Requirements: Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering,

Information Systems or a related field (willing to accept foreign education

equivalent), and two (2) years of experience performing quality assurance

and manual and automated testing, or, in the alternative, a Bachelor of

Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related

field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent), and five (5) years

of experience performing quality assurance and manual and automated

testing. Must possess demonstrated expertise: writing automation tests,

performing code reviews, and building test automation frameworks;

performing programming using Python and scripting languages such as Shell,

Bash or Perl; utilizing SQL to perform data extraction, modification and

manipulation, and utilizing NoSQL databases including MongoDB; performing

unit testing, using test coverage tools, and testing SOAP and REST APIs;

utilizing JIRA to perform story and bug tracking, as well as sprint

planning; utilizing automation and build tools such as Gherkin, Selenium,

Jenkins/Puppet or Docker, and performance testing tools such as JMeter; and

performing source code management using GitHub.
