Job Description:
Duties: Directly and independently perform proprietary,
product integrations in the Windows and Unix environments; directly
and independently perform user, business workflow analysis--a vital
component of later, proprietary, product integrations, done in the Windows
and Unix environments; assume responsibility for higher-level aspects
of proprietary, product integrations, done in the Windows and
Unix environments, specifically XML messaging, web services including
SOAP, and ETL tools; directly and independently implement or install
financial software applications (to include special higher-level, n-tier
software installations); develop implementation plans; develop project
requirement roadmaps; develop DR/HA designs; engage in hands-on, user
technical training; document training conducted (led by higher-level, CRD
Sr. Consultants); contribute to the development and maintenance of
training manuals; perform proprietary, trading and compliance product,
knowledge transfer (aimed both at clients and lower-level staff). Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in
Computer Science or a related technological discipline (to include Computer
Applications, Information Technology, Information Science, Information
Management, Computational Management, or Computer or Management Information
Systems); Engineering (to include Computer, Software, Electronic,
Electrical, Mechanical, Financial or Communication Engineering, or
Engineering Management); or Business Management, Administration or Business
generally, in addition to Finance, Financial Instruments or Markets,
Economics, or any related quantitative discipline (to include Mathematical
Finance, Mathematics generally, or Applied Mathematics). Also required:
one year of experience (a) contributing to or supporting software
application implementations; (b) contributing to or supporting software or
technology integrations; (c) with technical architecture in the UNIX and
Windows environments; and (d) recording user, business requirements.
Must live in Greater Boston, Greater Lowell, Greater Worcester, Central
Massachusetts, Massachusetts' MetroWest, North or South Shore regions, or in
Southern New Hampshire. This is because, in addition to traveling
(strictly domestically) for business, can also be expected to work in and
from organization's Burlington, Massachusetts headquarter location.
Can require domestic travel throughout the United States up to eighty
percent of the time. Extent to which must travel, however, will admittedly
vary. Travel would be to various, unanticipated, domestic client sites that
will change over time based on changing business needs, requirements,
and opportunities, and cannot be predicted. Indefinite relocation,
