Job Description:

RMS Lead Business Analyst (The Boston Consulting Group, Inc. - Boston, MA): Independently own and drive projects and processes which support operations and initiatives throughout the Knowledge@BCG request management system (RMS) which includes gathering business requirements, executing testing, and supporting business change in order to drive significant improvement in our internal Knowledge@BCG organization. Specific duties include: partnering with Knowledge@BCG stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into requirements for the RMS enhancements; collaborating with the development team to discover and implement enhancements; providing analysis, reports, summaries, and recommendations to customers, colleagues, and leadership; mentoring and leading junior staff in all operational tasks throughout the sprint cycle, including requirement gathering, story writing, sprint grooming, testing, and end-user communications and training; assisting in defining requirements in the scope of the project, including documenting the current state, developing a future state design, and developing the future state data models; working closely with the RMS Product Management team to develop future process enhancements for requests for Knowledge@BCG services; and building and managing relationships with IT team and developers. Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus six (6) years of experience in software development, delivery, and product management in agile environment. Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section unless otherwise stated): (i) working with ServiceNow, JIRA, Tableau, SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, Slack, and Trello; (ii) leading meetings with stakeholders; (iii) five (5) years in knowledge management role showing a growth trajectory, including ownership of projects and processes, requirement gathering, user communications, and business analysis; (iv) five (5) years working in dev-ops, Scrum or other agile framework; and (v) two (2) years serving as a team lead providing direction, guidance, and mentorship to junior colleagues.
