Job Description:
Digital and Technology Manager (The Boston Consulting Group,
Inc.- Boston, Massachusetts): Manage large-scale ERP, product
management and IT projects, and solve client issues through the
development of IT/ERP concepts and architecture/product solutions.
Specific duties include: restructure business and IT processes and
organizations within an ERP construct; support IT functions during
mergers and acquisitions, including the functional and technical
transformation of an organizations IT department; analyze and
evaluate an organizations IT and ERP architecture; develop road
maps and current state assessments; design and implement
feasibility studies for ERP strategy; define global and local
deployment strategy and develop infrastructure approach and
high-level design of ERP solutions; and optimize depth of value
added in ERP, restructuring core ERP processes, and recommending
ERP software and ERP platforms. Requires a Bachelor's degree in
Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business
Management, Mathematics or related field (willing to accept foreign
education equivalent) plus six (6) years of experience in ERP
consulting, product management, and IT project management.
Alternatively, a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering,
Information Technology, Business Management, Mathematics or related
field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and four (4)
years of experience in ERP consulting, product management, and IT
project management. Specific skills/other requirements - Must also
possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not
applicable to this section): working on Oracle (Cloud, PeopleSoft,
EBS) ERP product implementations, managing full-stack mobile/web
custom product development, and delivering IT projects spanning
across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle
(SDLC) using Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid Agile methodologies;
planning and managing complex projects in at least two end-to-end
ERP implementations in a waterfall, Agile or Hybrid Agile setting;
applying Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban to execute
product management projects; managing full-stack (frontend user
interface and backend service) development of custom mobile/web
products and designing product/technical solutions to solve complex
business problems; developing business process designs and
functional designs; conducting enterprise structure redesign,
fit-gap analysis and configurations; overseeing multiple
implementation projects where functionality spans across ERP and
non-ERP systems; leading the design and implementation of data
conversions and integrations across multiple systems and platforms;
and developing dashboards, queries and reports to derive actionable
insights and recommending operational improvements. Up to 80%
travel required based on company/client need. M-F, 9:00 a.m. to
