Description: Working under the direction of Technical Evangelist Senior Team
Lead 3, will be responsible for providing curriculum development support;
soliciting and identifying opportunities for curriculum development; working
with faculty members to define project scope, goals and deliverables;
managing relationship and progress of projects; providing informal
training, technical guidance and support to the course creation team
(professor, TAs, research assistants); helping PR efforts relating to curriculum
projects – publishing joint papers and articles, seeking speaking
opportunities and building university relationships; engaging with faculty;
attending conferences and get actively involved in engineering societies;
pursuing speaking opportunities such as workshops and panel discussions;
visiting strategic universities and building relationships with thought
leaders; pursuing collaborative publication and speaking opportunities
with thought leaders; creating content; creating materials for use by sales
and marketing; leveraging faculty engagement and course development
to create relevant white papers, demos and presentation materials; working
on projects to help dissemination of curriculum project deliverables;
providing customer support; supporting labs and strategic universities through
hands-on technical engagement; acting as a customer advocate by
collecting data and performing analysis on the needs of educational customers;
collecting data and perform analysis to identify future industry trends being
driven by academic research; helping facilitate industry and academia
outreach on an opportunistic basis; and interfacing with development to build
internal awareness for educational customer needs. Will require frequent
travel and on short notice within the East Coast. Education and Experience: Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Mechanical
Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Astronautical Engineering and one (1)
year of experience in job offered or one (1) year of experience in
development or doctoral research of fluid mechanics visualization techniques
and simulations. OR Ph.D. degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Mechanical
Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Astronautical Engineering and no
experience. Special Requirements: · Demonstrated expertise programming in MATLAB, Simulink,
Image Processing Toolbox, Signal Processing Toolbox, Statistics
Toolbox, and Symbolic Math Toolbox. · Demonstrated expertise in data/image acquisition, hardware instrumentation, image/signal processing, large data set
analysis and 3D visualization. · Demonstrated expertise in experimental fluid mechanics, to
theory and simulation. · Demonstrated expertise publishing research articles,
creating curriculum training materials, and presenting work at
engineering conferences. [Experience/expertise may be gained during Doctoral
program.] Position reports to Natick, Massachusetts headquarters. Any
qualified US worker will be permitted to work out of a home office within
close proximity to any major US airport on the East Coast. The MathWorks, Inc. is willing to accept a suitable combination
