Job Description:
Description: Working under the direction of Senior Team Leader 4, will be
responsible for defining requirements, design, and hands-on development -
spanning the database, APIs, services and UI; paying attention to details,
while also maintaining a big-picture perspective; direct collaboration with
many adjacent teams with varying levels of technical understanding;
participating in the design and delivery of new, highly integrated, quoting
and ordering functionality; documenting requirements and designs for
communication to technical and lay audiences; developing high quality and
testable code, while identifying opportunities to evolve our coding best
practices; collaborating with quality analysts to ensure test cases and
plans are well designed in order to reduce risk and ensure code coverage; and
taking a leadership role in complex application troubleshooting. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Software
Engineering or Computer Applications (willing to accept foreign education
equivalent) and five (5) years of experience in job offered or five (5) years of
experience in enterprise web application and services development. OR Master's degree in Computer Information Systems, Software
Engineering or Computer Applications (willing to accept foreign education
equivalent) and no experience. Special Requirements: · Demonstrated expertise building web based enterprise
applications using Java and J2EE, Spring and Hibernate frameworks, and
webservices development according to SOAP and Rest protocols, and Jersey and
Spring frameworks. · Demonstrated expertise implementing pricing, quotation and
ordering engines within an enterprise web application along all stages of
the application development life cycle: requirement analysis,
design, development and warranty support. · Demonstrated expertise developing online transaction
processing applications within a large volume concurrent user enterprise
based format, and implementing asynchronous communication with message based
architecture using JMS and Websphere MQ. [Expertise may be gained during Graduate program.] The MathWorks, Inc. is willing to accept a suitable combination
