Job Description:
Description: Working under the direction of Quality Engineering Manager, will
be responsible for testing Simulink & Stateflow User Interface;
providing technical leadership to testing Simulink & Stateflow User
Interfaces for MathWorks; engaging early in the software development processes
including influencing requirements specification; testing effort for GUI
features for the team; specific tasks including coordinating test efforts
across multiple teams, participating in design reviews and code reviews, test
planning, implementing automated test suites using MATLAB and C++, writing
and executing manual tests, reporting bugs, verifying fixes and
performing final product validation; leveraging scripting skills and developing
test tooling infrastructure for the team; and working closely with other
internal groups such as Engineering, Documentation, Usability, Program
Management and Technical Support. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science (willing to
accept foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience
in job offered or five (5) years of experience developing MATLAB-based
user interface OR Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science (willing to
accept foreign education equivalent) and no experience. Special Requirements: • Demonstrated expertise developing algorithms and user
interface in MATLAB. • Demonstrated expertise programming in C++ and MATLAB with
Object- Oriented Design. • Demonstrated expertise designing Simulink GUI automated test
