Description: Working under the direction of Engineering Senior Team Lead 4,
the Software Engineer will be responsible for designing,
developing, and testing software applications, and playing a key
role in improving the performance of MathWorks code-generation
products by delivering new capabilities and applying compiler
optimizations; participating in all stages of development, from
concept to delivery; supporting compiler optimization for C code
generation from Simulink and MATLAB; implementing performance
optimization transformations and refactoring existing ones to
expand compiler optimization benefits; improving debugging
infrastructure to increase team productivity; and delivering
high-quality software solutions implemented in C++. Education and Experience: Master’s degree (or foreign educational equivalent) in Computer
Science or Information Systems and one (1) year of experience in
job offered or one (1) year of experience in C++ development. OR Bachelor’s degree (or foreign educational equivalent) in
Computer Science or Information Systems and five (5) years of
experience in job offered or five (5) years of experience in C++
development. Special Requirements: · Demonstrated expertise in compiler development within a UNIX,
LINUX, or Windows environment, and programming in C++ for compiler
optimizations. · Demonstrated expertise implementing data flow analysis,
including pointer alias analysis in compiler optimizations and
static evaluation, of virtual functions. · Demonstrated expertise in performance tuning and programming
