Job Description:
Description: Working under the direction of IT Quality Engineering Manager 1,
will be responsible for running performance projects; analyzing,
measuring, tracking, reporting, and implementing quality assurance
measures on a complement of projects and applications, both new and
existing; creating, running, and analyzing GUI and API performance
test scripts and scenarios; writing Java code and implementing web
service performance tests; identifying, documenting and
implementing improvements in both systems and processes; creating
performance test plans, maintaining, and running scripts and
scenarios; analyzing application and system performance; generating
and publishing performance reports; working with Developers and
Analysts to debug and resolve issues; identifying and creating data
sets; analyzing and recommending improvements to performance tools
and environment; and participating in functional reviews, test
specifications and code review, in all aspects of product
development and design, and in QE testing process as needed
(functional, system and regression testing). Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering or Information Systems and five (5) years of
experience in job offered or five (5) years of experience
performing load based performance testing. OR Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering or Information Systems and no experience. Special Requirements: · Demonstrated expertise recording test scripts and running test
scenarios for web services and UI applications using LoadRunner and
OATS. · Demonstrated expertise analyzing performance test results and
documents test reports for web services and UI applications. · Demonstrated expertise gathering and analyzing client-side
(response time and passed versus failed transactions) and
service-side (CPU and memory utilization, pending threads, and heap
