Job Description:
Working under the direction of Engineering Manager 1, the
Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and improving
core graphics API, object model, geometry processing techniques,
rendering algorithms for MATLAB graphics; working in a
collaborative environment to develop visualization tools and
graphic algorithms to fit needs of MATLAB customers; working
closely with QE and Documentation teams; designing and implementing
high quality software systems through design, review, and testing;
debugging and enhancing the object oriented system architecture for
interactive graphic applications in MATLAB; and working with
development teams to improve development process and leveraging
standard software practice. Education and Experience: Master’s degree (or foreign educational equivalent) in Computer
Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and
Telecommunications, or Instrumentation Engineering and no
experience. OR Bachelor’s degree (or foreign educational equivalent) in
Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and
Telecommunications, or Instrumentation Engineering and five (5)
years of experience in job offered or five (5) years of experience
developing 3D Graphic Systems. Special Requirements: · Demonstrated expertise programming graphic scene graph
management functionality using object oriented programming. · Demonstrated expertise writing algorithms for data
visualization and geometry processing using C++, Java, or MATLAB,
and graphics rendering using OpenGL API. · Demonstrated expertise in test-based development and
