Job Description:

Working under the direction of Quality Engineering Manager 1, will be

responsible for handling hands-on testing of new, cutting-edge features that

integrate MATLAB capabilities with mobile technologies; engaging early in

the software development process; influencing requirements specifications;

attending usability sessions; discussing software design and testability

with developers to ensure high quality of software and products in

functionality, performance, security and reliability; functioning as an

individual contributor for Mobile development projects in a multi-tier and

multi-platform environment; identifying specific testing needs of projects

and working with other teams to ensure that these needs are addressed;

designing and developing test plans based upon functional and design

specifications; participating in functional specification, test

specification, documentation, and code reviews; creating and maintaining

automated and manual test suites; participating actively in functional,

system and regression testing activities; analyzing reported bugs and

working with software developers and development managers to resolve bugs;

and fostering a continuous process improvement environment.

Education and Experience:

Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering,

Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Systems or Mathematics and

no experience.

OR

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering,

Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Systems or Mathematics and

five (5) years of experience in job offered or five (5) years of experience

in development, technical support or test automation of Android and iOS

applications.

Special Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise programming in MATLAB, and writing MATLAB

algorithms.

• Demonstrated expertise developing and debugging test automation of

Android applications using Android SDK and Robotium API

• Demonstrated expertise developing and debugging test automation of

iOS applications using iOS UI Automation.
