Job Description:

Working under the direction of Technical Marketing Manager 1, will be

responsible for developing, producing and implementing marketing materials

to support products in the statistics, financial engineering, data analysis,

and computational biology business areas. Will produce technical marketing

and sales support material, such as selling materials and collateral to

drive awareness and adoption of products, including web pages, videos, and

demos. Will produce content and messaging for lead generation including

webinars and web offers. In addition, will develop and present seminars.

Will work on projects related to market analysis including market trends,

technology assessments and competitive analysis. Will report on customer

requirements and product usage and will identify user stories. Will work

with sales and programs teams to implement various programs and analyze

incoming data such as revenue, seat and marketing programs data to identify

trends, problems etc. Will participate in the organization of MathWorks

events such as the Advisory board meetings, and of MathWorks participation

in external events such as tradeshows and conferences.

Education and Experience:

Master’s degree or higher (or foreign educational equivalent) in Electrical

Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and

Electronics Engineering, or Business Administration and one (1) year of

experience job offered or one (1) year of experience in performing

statistical and mathematical modeling using MATLAB.

Special Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise programming and modeling in MATLAB, C, and

C++.

• Demonstrated expertise developing or delivering technical training

programs for statistical and mathematical modeling.

• Demonstrated expertise performing statistical modeling or delivering

trainings in statistical modeling using MATLAB-based tools, specifically for

statistical analysis, machine learning and optimization, and computational

finance including portfolio optimization and risk modeling.
