Job Description:

Working under the direction of Engineering Senior Team Leader 4, will be

responsible for shaping Simulink and Stateflow graphical programming

language editors; inventing and implementing novel user interactions and

features, increase the performance, scalability, and elegance of our tools,

enabling scientists and engineers around the world to work more efficiently

and effectively; designing, implementing, and maintaining large portions of

graphical editors; and designing, coding, documenting, and communicating

ideas.

Education and Experience:

Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering or Computer

Science and two (2) years of experience in job offered or two (2) years of

experience in design and development of graphical editors.

OR

Ph.D. (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering or Computer Science

and no experience.

Special Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise developing Desktop and Web based diagram

editors, specifically: user interaction, modeling constrains enforcement,

algorithmic layout, synchronization with source code and domain models.

• Demonstrated expertise in object oriented programming using Java and

C++.

• Demonstrated expertise in UML, model based design of software

systems and code generation.
