Job Description:

Working under the direction of Quality Engineering Senior Team Leader 4,

will be responsible for releasing the MATLAB and Simulink product family on

schedule; being accountable for maintaining the integrity of source code in

the repository, helping to resolve build and test issues, coordinating

branch strategies, and the overall management of the automated build and

test system; managing the automated build and test system; investigating,

debugging, and resolving automated build and test issues; working with

Engineering and QE to refine and improve the development process; developing

tools to improve the efficiency of the integration and release process;

building and delivering general releases, web products, service packs, and

beta products; and assisting development with change management.

Education and Experience:

Master's degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering,

Computer Science, Mathematics, Communication or related Interdisciplinary

degree and 0 years of experience.

OR

Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering, Computer

Science, Mathematics, Communication or related Interdisciplinary degree and

five (5) years of experience in job offered or five (5) years of experience

in software product and build debugging.

Special Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise in software configuration management and

source code management including analysis and implementation of branching

strategies, using ClearCase, CVS or Perforce, and build management tools –

Jenkins, Hudson or TeamCity.

• Demonstrated expertise in automation of tasks and build processes

using Shell or Perl scripting.

• Demonstrated expertise in object oriented programming using C++ or

Java, and code compilation using GNU make, Ant or Gradle.

• Demonstrated expertise managing and enhancing build and release

processes using Perforce streams, shell or Perl scripting, and Artifactory,

Jenkins, Ant and Ivy for open source repository management.
