Job Description:

Working under the direction of Engineering Senior Technical Lead 3, will be

responsible for developing user interfaces for MATLAB and Simulink;

architecting plug-in frameworks that will be leveraged across the entire

product line for web delivery of product extensions; collaborating with

other innovators to evolve the standard for Internet-aware UI applications;

playing a key role in architecting and developing Java GUIs and frameworks;

participating in all stages of design, implementation, testing, and product

release; working with usability specialists to design intuitive UIs that

enhance user experience; and implementing tools that enable dynamic updates

of products on users' computers and automatic integration of third-party

software and hardware.

Education and Experience:

Master’s degree or higher (or foreign educational equivalent) in Computer

Science or Engineering and no experience.

OR

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign educational equivalent) in Computer Science or

Engineering and five (5) years of experience in job offered or five (5)

years of experience in development, quality engineering or technical support

of real time automated code generation for embedded targets.

Special Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise in development, quality engineering or

technical support of Simulink based code generation for embedded hardware

(TI C200, TI C600), system-on-chip (Xilinx Zynq, Altera) and low cost single

board computers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi).

• Demonstrated expertise developing unit testing APIs and automated

testing framework using MATLAB/MATLABUnit.

• Demonstrated expertise in development, testing or technical support

of install and hardware setup services including the GUI and backend APIs

for developing and delivering off-cycle product extensions using MATLAB as

the development environment.
