Job Description:

Working under the direction of the Quality Engineering Manager 1, will

be responsible for developing test suites and conducting hands-on

testing of the Signal Processing product; participating in projects from

their early design stages and playing a key role in driving high quality

software to final product release; participating in feature design and

review; investigating ways to evolve existing testing tools and harness;

writing test suites using MATLAB and C++; implementing testing APIs in

MATLAB and C++; creating and executing the interactive test plans on

multiple platforms; and reporting bugs using an in-house bug tracking

systems.

Education and Experience:

Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering or

Computer Science and two (2) years of experience in job offered or two

(2) years of experience writing and implementing MATLAB algorithms for

signal processing testing.

OR

Ph.D. degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering or

Computer Science and no experience.

OR

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering or

Computer Science and six (6) years of experience in job offered or six

(6) years of experience writing and implementing MATLAB algorithms for

signal processing testing.

Special Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise writing and implementing signal

processing algorithms in MATLAB.

• Demonstrated expertise designing and implementing signal

processing systems, including filter design and wavelets, using MATLAB

and Simulink.

• Demonstrated expertise programming in MATLAB, including object

oriented design and analysis within a multiplatform environment --

Windows and Linux.
