Job Description:
Working under the direction of Quality Engineering Senior Team
Lead 3, will be responsible for developing automated test suites and
conducting hands-on testing of the automatically generated embedded code
for Simulink and Signal Processing and Communications products;
working closely with other Quality Engineers and developers to improve
standards and strategies for efficient automated testing; solving
challenging problems, designing and documenting new automated tests and
processes, and communicating with the team; providing strong technical
input to the testing of the embedded algorithms for the Simulink and
Signal Processing and Communications products; participating in design
reviews, test planning, writing test suites using MATLAB and other
automation tools, writing and executing interactive tests, reporting bugs
detected, verifying fixes and final product validation; and working
closely with the Engineering, Documentation, Program Management and Technical
Support departments. Education and Experience: Master’s degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent)
in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information
Systems or Mathematics and no experience. OR Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Systems or
Mathematics and five (5) years of experience in job offered or five (5)
years of experience in development, testing or technical support of
software for hardware integration for robotic and embedded systems. Special Requirements: • Demonstrated expertise in development or test development
of embedded systems for motor control, sensor interface and
serial communications using microcontrollers. • Demonstrated expertise programming in C, Embedded C, Java,
and MATLAB. • Demonstrated expertise developing software for hardware integration for embedded systems. • Demonstrated expertise analyzing circuit schematics and measurements using oscilloscopes for hardware integration.
