Description:

Working under the direction of the Engineering - Senior Team Lead 3,

will be responsible for developing all aspects of Stateflow development,

including programming language design, compiler optimizations, and back-

end technologies; performing high level architectural design, algorithm

discovery, development and testing; working with multiple development

teams to design and improve the core Stateflow infrastructure with

better modularity and scalability, using C++ and Object Oriented

Programming; and participating in all stages of software design, coding,

and testing.

Education and Experience:

Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science,

Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics or Information Technology and

two (2) years of experience in job offered or two (2) years of

experience designing algorithms within a finite state or graph

environment.

OR

Ph.D. degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science,

Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics or Information Technology and

no experience.

OR

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science,

Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics or Information Technology and

six (6) years of experience in job offered or six (6) years of

experience designing algorithms within a finite state or graph

environment.

Special Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise designing graph algorithms using C++.

• Demonstrated expertise in code base development using C++11, and

STL and Boost libraries.

• Demonstrated expertise in object oriented programming and design

using C++.

• Demonstrated expertise using compiler tools -- Lex and Bison --

to define and analyze formal languages.
