Description: Working under the direction of Quality Engineering Manager 1,
will be responsible for providing technical leadership for testing GUIs
for The MathWorks Simulation Visualization tools; testing effort for
GUI features for the team, including: coordinating test efforts
across multiple teams, participating in design reviews and code
reviews, test planning, implementing automated test suites using MATLAB and
C++, writing and executing manual tests, reporting bugs, verifying
fixes and performing final product validation; leveraging scripting skills
and developing test tooling infrastructure for the team; and working
closely with other internal groups such as Engineering,
Documentation, Usability, Program Management and Technical Support. Education and Experience: Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering
or Computer Science and two (2) years of experience in job offered
or two (2) years of experience writing and implementing MATLAB
algorithms for signal processing testing. OR Ph.D. degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering
or Computer Science and no experience. OR Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering or Computer Science and six (6) years of experience in job offered
or six (6) years of experience writing and implementing MATLAB
algorithms for signal processing testing. Special Requirements: • Demonstrated expertise writing and implementing signal processing algorithms in MATLAB. • Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing
signal processing systems using MATLAB and Simulink. • Demonstrated expertise programming in MATLAB and C++,
including object oriented design and analysis within a multiplatform
environment - - Windows and Linux. • Demonstrated expertise in software testing, including test automation and performing software memory testing using
Valgrind. [Experience and/or expertise may be gained during Doctoral
