Description: Working under the direction of Programmer/Analyst Manager 2,
will be responsible for working closely with the business areas and with
the rest of the data warehouse team to implement reporting solutions
for the company; focusing on supporting the existing reporting tools
and exploring new tools to support future reporting needs,
including: systems analysis, requirements definition, universe design
and debugging, end user support/mentoring, and tool
administration; demonstrating expertise for all existing reporting
applications including BusinessObjects WebI, Crystal Reports, and
InfoBurst (scheduling tool); providing day-to-day support and mentoring to
end users; acting as a consulting resource for our internal
customers; exploring new tools and features in the BusinessObjects and
Microsoft stack of BI tools, including the use of dashboards, mobile
capabilities, and use of analytic and visualization tools; supporting
front-line for tool related questions, requests, and issues; designing and
maintaining BusinessObjects source universes using both the Designer and
Information Design Tool (IDT); and providing advice and supporting to others
in the group on universe development. Education and Experience: Master’s degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent)
in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or
Operations Management and two (2) years of experience in job offered or two
(2) years of experience in business intelligence, data warehouse
development or software development. OR Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or Operations
Management and five (5) years of experience in job offered or five (5) years
of experience in business intelligence, data warehouse development
or software development. Special Requirements: • Demonstrated expertise in Business Objects Administration
and business meta data layer development, including upgrading
the environment, developing end to end business intelligence
decision support solutions -- requirements gathering, specifications
design, systems development, implementation, test plan development
and production support -- using Central Management Console,
Universe Designer, Information Design Tool and SQL Scripts. • Demonstrated expertise in data warehouse modeling,
including translating user requirements into data models, and data
cleansing; and coding and administration of ETL using SAP Data Services. • Demonstrated expertise in data warehouse development,
including application administration of Business Objects; and
performance optimization of data warehouses and business intelligence
solutions, including data profiling and data analysis using complex
Microsoft SQL queries. • Demonstrated expertise using Web Intelligence advanced
reporting functionalities -- merged dimensions, multiple queries, excel
sourced reports, Sub-query, and Input Controls -- for analysis and
