Description: Working under the direction of the Technical Marketing Manager
1, will be responsible for engaging and inspiring primary and secondary
school teachers to use MATLAB and Simulink in their classrooms and
curriculum; owning both the content creation aspect of curriculum as well as
the market communication strategy; serving as an advocate, advisor
and project manager for sponsored curriculum projects;
identifying, connecting and enabling the use of our tools by exhibiting
the capabilities of MathWorks products at events, through networking
and through the web; creating communities and bringing existing
communities together; initiating and designing exhibits, courses, and
competitions that showcase MathWorks products and inspiring teachers to use
them to accelerate discovery and learning in STEM; assessing customer
needs and defining the market and product vision; demonstrating experience
in managing project specifications and requirements, roadmaps,
and developer and designer work pipelines; maintaining and growing
internal and external relationships, responding to frequent demands of
multiple customers; using data insights to drive decision making process;
working effectively with both technical teams and business experts;
applying a hands on approach to problem solving with an interest in working
on problems that don't have an obvious solution; improving
students' learning experiences and discovering new teaching
methodologies; soliciting and identifying opportunities for curriculum
development; and achieving stretch goals in an innovative and fast paced
environment. Education and Experience: Master’s degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent)
in Engineering or Computer Science and one (1) year of experience
in job offered or one (1) year of experience designing and delivering
technical customer support or academic training programs for modeling
and simulation of signal processing, robotics or audio
processing technologies. Special Requirements: • Demonstrated expertise in algorithmic programming in MATLAB
and Simulink. • Demonstrated expertise in development or technical support
of hardware and software interface of Arduino and Raspberry Pi
hardware boards, and Zumo robotic platforms, with MATLAB and
Simulink. • Demonstrated expertise optimizing web search functionality
and creating marketing content to attract and engage web
customers. • Demonstrated expertise developing Simulink based training curriculum for students in primary, secondary or post-secondary
