Working under the direction of Technical Marketing Manager 1, will be

responsible for leading MathWorks efforts to promote our parallel

computing tools to prospects in commercial and academic markets and

working with the development team to ensure successful launches and

reception of our products; enabling MATLAB and Simulink users to

directly leverage the computational power of multicore computers, GPUs,

computer clusters, and clouds; building on these high performance

computing innovations, helping engineers and scientists solve larger

problems more quickly than previously possible; collecting and

synthesizing customer requirements and technology trends to better

understand the potential markets for our tools; planning and leading

product introductions; creating and delivering customer presentations,

reference stories, and other selling tools; and working with key

stakeholders to develop multi-year product roadmaps as well as short-

term release plans.

Education and Experience:

Master’s degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent) in

Engineering, Computer Science or Signal Processing and one (1) year of

experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience in

development, technical product marketing or technical support of MATLAB-

and Simulink-based simulation tools.

Special Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise developing and delivering technical

support or technical product marketing content to highlight

functionality of Simulink-based technologies.

• Demonstrated expertise analyzing customer workflows and

performance metrics to support development of algorithms in MATLAB and

models designed in Simulink.

• Demonstrated expertise performing market research including

competitive market analysis of Parallel Computing technologies to

support client marketing or technical support engagements.

• Demonstrated expertise designing technical support or marketing

content, including web content and technical engineering articles or

user proof of concept content.
