Job Description:

Working under the direction of the Quality Engineering Manager 1, will

be responsible for developing automated test suites and conducting

hands-on testing; performing production code generation for embedded

applications; working with hardware platforms such as Arduino, Raspberry

Pi, ARM processors, FPGAs, and System-on-Chip (SOC) boards; working

closely with other Quality Engineers and developers to improve standards

and strategies for efficient automated testing; designing and

documenting new automated tests and processes, and communicating with

the team; providing strong technical input to implement the testing of

MATLAB and Simulink interfaces to general-purpose hardware;

participating in design reviews, test planning, writing test suites

using MATLAB and other automation tools; writing and executing

interactive tests, reporting bugs detected, verifying fixes and final

product validation; and working closely with the Engineering,

Documentation, Program Management and Technical Support departments.

Education and Experience:

Master’s degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent) in

Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Software, Embedded Systems,

Information Science, Information Systems, or Management Information

Systems and no experience.

OR

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering,

Computer Science, Embedded Software, Embedded Systems, Information

Science, Information Systems, or Management Information Systems and five

(5) years of experience in job offered or five (5) years of experience

in quality engineering of code generation and simulation of embedded

targets.

Special Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise writing automated test plans and cases

for embedded targets using MATLAB, QTP, and object oriented programming.

• Demonstrated expertise in GUI testing using script language --

QTP or MATLAB unit testing frameworks.

• Demonstrated expertise in bug report tracking using ClearCase

and test infrastructure management using QA Management.

• Demonstrated expertise in quality engineering of code generation

and simulation of embedded targets.
