Position Description:

The Director, Strategy & Reporting is responsible for supporting the
development, communication, execution and monitoring of overall
Institutional Wealth Services (IWS) strategy. Responsibilities include
supporting the development of annual business plans, goal setting and
territory management for all Sales and Relationship Management Teams,
governance and project management of strategic initiatives, management of
critical reporting systems and delivery of business information and
analytics.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support development, communication and execution of IWS strategy:
o Support division-level strategic efforts (Fidelity Institutional
cross-business unit efforts)
o Support annual and multi-year business planning efforts for IWS
o Provide governance of key strategic initiatives
o Manage and oversee IWS capital spending plans
o Provide project management and leadership to key initiatives
• Drive territory management and annual goal setting process for IWS
Sales & Relationship Mgmt teams
o Consult with Sales & Relationship Management leaders to help manage
their territories
o Coordinate creation and management of financial goals with various
stakeholder groups
o Monitor client profitability performance through the year;
recommend changes to client engagement as necessary
• Support IWS strategy reporting / communication needs
o Drive cross-reporting group coordination
o Support reporting needs for key strategic initiatives
o Perform QC of client data and reports in critical systems of record
• Provide ad hoc analytical support and report creation for IWS
senior management decision support — includes providing support for upward
communications to PWIS and FI senior management.

Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Economics, or
Finance (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) as well as 5 years
experience in job offered or 5 years experience in business strategy and
management consulting within a financial brokerage environment; OR, in the
alternative, MBA or Master’s degree (or foreign educational equivalent) in
Business, Economics, or Finance and 2 years experience in job offered or 2
years experience in business strategy and management consulting within a
financial brokerage environment. Also requires experience with:
Demonstrated Expertise in B-to-B strategy development, business analysis
and management consulting within the registered investment advisor
environment, including product and market analysis, competitive
intelligence and benchmarking, mergers and acquisitions strategy, internal
capability assessment, customer research, technology viability analysis and
program management; DE in financial and business planning, forecasting,
modeling and analysis using MS Excel and Crystal Ball -- specifically, for
analysis of P&L and business metrics, profitability, pricing, return on
investment (ROI), competitive market factors, and econometric analysis; DE
in developing and delivering business cases, strategy presentations and
financial models to influence middle to senior management decision-making
using MS PowerPoint and data representation graphics software (Mekko and
ThinkCell). Fidelity Investments is willing to accept a suitable
